I called in on November 2. I love that you start Christmas the first of November. The music channel starts the first of November.

I think you should start playing Christmas music on Monday November 21, 2011. It's the Monday before Thanksgiving & the start of Christmas shopping.

It is never to0 early to start playing Christmas music!

i enjoy the holiday music just as much as the next person but also enjoy my classic hits as well. i have no problem with a mix of the two beginning anytime in november. i would suggest sticking with that format at least untill thanksgiving passes.

My 7yo has listened to Christmas music on your station from when he was 3 years old. He makes me check the station almost daily beginning about now and the moment it's all Christmas music, all the time he requires that I turn your station on first thing in the morning and will not let me turn it off until he is asleep at night. Back when he was three, he could repeat your Christmas station identification verbatim. So I guess for us, it's never too early and it waiting until after Christmas would be far too long for us.

We have been wondering when the Christmas music would be starting!! Since November 1st we have been listening to WOLX, waiting to hear some Christmas tunes. We enjoy the classics but, Christmas does only come once a year, we believe it is something to be celebrated longer than the 12 days of Christmas. We'll continue to check in to see if you've switched over.

Really, I think you should at least wait til the day after Thanksgiving.

I think it would be cool if everyone could get what they want! I say start the Christmas music right away in November, HOWEVER, play everyother song as a Christmas song, and then mix the oldies music in-between! Play a Christmas song, then an oldies song, then a Christmas song and so on! That would be awesome and I think everyone would enjoy that!!!

This is David. We started last year on November 11th, the year before that it was November 5th and in 2008 it was November 7th. I don't remember when it was in 2007 and in 2006 it was the day after Thanksgiving. We have found that if we start too early we get lots of complaints, so we try to find the sweet spot before Thanksgiving. For what it is worth there are already lots of station in other cities that have gone all-Christmas including two stations in Detroit and two in St. Louis.

There is already snow on the ground and its getting to look alot like christmas..its time!

I was expecting my christmas music the day after halloween. I thought that's when it was supposed to start. I have to say I was highly dissapointed. Now I keep checking this radio station and still am sad that there is no Christmas music. Please bring it to us soon!

Please start the Christmas music! I've been waiting for a while! If some people are unhappy, I read that they can stream the regular station till the end of the year! Why would anyone be unhappy?

well i had to put my x-mas tree up and do some wrapping of gifts listening to Q106, we all have been waiting for sometime now and as was said it only comes once a year we all need to get in the spirt of how we can help out other and get in the happy mood. if i could have my tree up and the x-mas songs all year long i would!! makes you smile.

David, I know it may be difficult, but you should commit to a date and stick to it every year. 107.3 starts Thanksgiving day at 7pm. For some that's too late, but at least it's consistent. It was so disappointing waking up this morning and not hearing Christmas music, especially since the start date from last year has already pasted.

Love it but need more variety....Haven't even heard Elvis yet...and heard way too much of Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton. :) Love the Hippopotomus and Sombero songs.. Santa Baby more too....Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin... oh and Elvis :) Thanks

I love the continuous Christmas music on WOLX! However, I have yet to hear my favotite song: The Little Drummer Boy, composed by Harry Simeone and Henry Onorati, and orchestrated by the Harry Simeone Chorale. Could you play this song ..... PLEASE! Thanks! Mike

I do not no the name of it or the artist. However some of the lyrics have to do with a retired soldier sleeping on the floor with only a blanket and taddered clothes. I'm sorry I do not remember anymore than this. I've only heard this songa couple of times BUT it is a very meaningful and powerfull song. Hope you can help me out with the title.
