Of all the things I thought I might have in common with Jimmy Buffett, I never imagined it would be the fact that we'd both suffer a fall at the same time! The Son of a Sailor fell off the stage in Sydney, Australia--he misjudged where the stage ended due to the footlights. Bright blinding lights weren't my problem, just the opposite in fact. In the dark, I misjudged where the last step was on my staircase. Ended up doing a face plant into the wall but not before jamming up two fingers on my right hand! Jimmy's injuries were more serious although he's now been released from the hospital. We're both recovering well (with a margarita or three)!
