This is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death. On one hand I feel like this should not be an anniversary we remember. It's sad. It notes how John died. It recalls a very tragic day.
On the other hand, it also serves as a reminder of what John Lennon was trying to do. I think he got conversations started about peace and love and that's never a bad thing.
Rolling Stone Magazine today is releasing their final interview with Lennon. Recorded three days before his death…Lennon complained about his critics and talked optimistically about his family and future, musing that he had "plenty of time" to accomplish some of his life goals.
