Surving Wisconsin Winters

I think of myself as an outdoorsy person, so I'd like to think I have what it takes to survive being out in the open. The key is preparation. You bring the things you need to survive including the know-how.
Of all the things to pack in a survival kit, I jokingly would say beer should be in in there.
That's why I love the story out of Alaska, where a man survived three days in his car, in a snowbank, on frozen beer. He cut the top off of the Coors Light cans he had and ate it like a can of beans. Pretty impressive. I might have opted for a Spotted Cow or perhaps a Capital Brewery Island Wheat, but to each his own.
I think if you pack beer in your survival kit, you should at least put some salty bar snacks in there too. You never know when a party might break out.
