There's alot of geeky buzz about the upcoming Batman & Superman movie, and here's the latest dish.
Ben Affleck will star as Batman in the Man of Steel sequel. Zack Snyder will return to direct Affleck and Henry Cavill in the still-untitled film, which will be the first time Batman and Superman have shared the big screen.
It is already slated to open worldwide on July 17, 2015. Says Snyder: "Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry's Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne. I can't wait to work with him."
1 - I'm a Ben Affleck fan.
2. I don't have many expectations for sequels
3. I haven't given up on the Superhero movie genre, although I'm weary.
4. I love movies.
That's reason enough for me to give this film a fighting Bat-Chance. But the fervor for a film that comes out in Summer of 2015. I can't get on board with that yet. Pow!
