Paul was at the White House last night accepting the Gershwin Award for Pop Music. He performed several tunes and brought down the house with "Michelle", with resident Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama sitting front and center.
After finishing the love the song, McCartney joked he might be the "first guy ever to be punched out by a president."
I think you're OK Paul, but you may want to pop the Jonas Brothers in the shoulder for doing what I hear was a mediocre job with "Drive My Car."
