March 14th- The Madison Shamrock Shuffle


It's time for the 2010 Madison Shamrock Shuffle!  Be part of the fun on March 14th beginning at 10am in downtown Madison at the Overture Center.  Choose from 10 k and 5 k runs or a 2 mi walk.  Cost varies from $25 to $30. 

All proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County.

March 14th - St. Patrick's Day Parade


Join WOLX for all the festivities March 14th at the Capitol Square in Madison.  The St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 1:30.  Participate in the parade!  Sponsors, parade entries, volunteers and spectators are invited to be part of this celebration of Irish culture. 

March 17th - The Mid-Life Crisis


Join WOLX at Badger Bowl on March 17th.  We'll be there checking out The Mid-Life Crisis at 7:30.  No cover charge!  Have fun with us this St. Patrick's Day.

March 26th-28th - Wisconsin Big Buck Classic


Be at the Wisconsin Big Buck Classic March 26th-28th at Chula Vista in the Wisconsin Dells.  Attend seminars and view demonstrations all weekend.  There will be hundreds of exhibitors, a world record shed display, trial camera contest and gun show.  Tickets: $8 adults, $6 children (ages 10 and under).  Friday night is ladies night, ladies receive free admission.  Sunday is Family Day.  Kids and under are free!

April 9th-11th - Wisconsin Deer & Turkey Expo


Attend the Wisconsin Deer & Turkey Expo at Alliant Energy Center in Madison April 9th-11th.  See sporting exhibitors and get involved in seminars.   Times: April 9th, 2p-9p; April 10th, 9a-7p; April 11th, 9a-4p.  Tickets: Adult 1-Day $12, Adult 2-Day $20, Youth ages 6-11 $3. 

April 15th-17th - UW Varsity Band Spring Concert


The theme of this spring’s concert, April 15-17 at the Kohl Center, will be the 100th birthday of "On, Wisconsin!" Tickets go on sale February 1st.  Find out more about past concerts and get updates at badgerband.com or visit the University Bookstore at 711 State Street.
