August 9th - Reason2Ride

When: Saturday, August 9th 9a-Noon
Where: Registration at American Legion Post 481, Waunakee
Details: Reason2Ride evolved 11 years ago with a group of friends who banned together to help out a friend who had outstanding medical bills due to an accident.  Over the last 11 years Reason2Ride has grown into approximately 50 members strong and we now have two chapters.  One in Waunakee and the other in Watertown.  Every year we have nominations of individuals in the area that are in need of financial assistance due to injury or tragedy (not related to a drug or alcohol incident).  Our club reviews the applications and conducts phone interviews and each nomination is presented to the club and the club votes on who they feel has the most need.  This year we have chosen Tielyr Gorman.
Our members are Dedicated, Committed and Caring and we work very hard to have the safest, most fun ride event in the area.  Yes, there are a lot of benefit rides out there, but what sets us apart from the rest is our track record.  We have developed a formula over the last 11 years for successful, fun events.
You do not need to ride a motorcycle to come to our events or to be a member.

what: Since 1964, Good Neighbor Festival has been bringing the Middleton community together. Over the past 50 years, this festival has changed a lot. The music sounds different. There are more midway rides. The city of Middleton is a bigger place than it once was.

But, through the years, some things have never changed. Good Neighbor Festival is still family fun, good music, great food and the good neighbor ethic. And it always will be.

Good Neighbor Festival grows out of the Middleton community. As the major fundraiser of the year for Middleton’s non-profit organizations, the event supports charities and worthy causes throughout the Middleton area. Event organizers continue to hope that visitors to Good Neighbor Festival attend not only to have a good time, but also to support the Middleton organizations that help our neighbors most in need.
